THE VISITORS WERE GIVEN COMPREHENSIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROPERTIES OF THE HEALING WATER, THE DIVERSITY OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED AND THE INVESTMENT AREAS IN THE DISTRICT

AZIZIYE MAYOR:

“AZIZIYE TOOK ITS PLACE AMONG THE BRAND VALUES OF THERMAL TOURISM”

Aziziye Municipality was the centre of attraction in EKSPOMED 2010 Fair where it participated to promote the thermal tourism values of the district and to draw the investors to the region. Azizite Thermal Facilities’ stand was visited by thousands of people in the fair which was organized in YÜYAP Fair and Congress Centre, Beylikdüzü, Istanbul.

Opening the fair, Health Commission Member of Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Erzurum Member of Parliament Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Gülyurt presented information about the thermal facilities to Istanbul Deputy Governor Ahmet Aydın and Denizli Deputy Governor Halil İbrahim Ertekin. Visiting the fair at the weekend, Health Minister Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ congratulated the Mayor Fatih Cengiz for his promotion of the thermal facilities which are the natural wealth and development potential of the district in the international fair. Akdağ laid emphasis on the promotion in international fairs.

Health Minister Undersecretary Prof. Dr. Nihat Tosun, Ankara University Rector Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak, Erzurum Health Director Associate Prof. Dr. Serhat Vançelik, Region Training and Research Hospital Chief Physican Doç Dr. Fazlı Erdoğan, Atatürk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Semih Diyarbakır and Assistant to Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Keleş, Justice and Development Party Aziziye District Chairman Ahmet Gül, Justice and Development Party Youth Branches Erzurum Provincial Chairman  Zafer Tarıkdaroğlu, Dr. Mehmet Yavuz who worked for long years in Erzurum and numerous bureaucrats and businessmen from Erzurum who work in Istanbul and citizens was a guest at the stand of Azizite Thermal Facilities.

Aziziye Mayor Fatih Cengiz and Thermal Facilities Manager Fatih Alpşanlı were closely interested in the guests visiting the stand and presented information about the properties of the healing water, the diversity of the services provided in the thermal facilities and the investment areas in the district

AZİZİYE OPENS UP TO THE WORLD

Aziziye Mayor Fatih Cengiz told that Erzurum is a qualified city with the potentials it has and principally with the diversity of tourism. Emphasising that Erzurum became a national and international brand value with 2011 World Inter-University Winter Games, Mayor Cengiz told “We are trying to make our city and district an attraction centre by promoting the values, potentials and natural beauties of our city. Though our district has a modern facility and valuable healing waters, the long-awaited development thrust has not been performed yet. The progresses we are making are for making our beautiful district achieve the long-awaited status in the path towards development.

INVITATION FROM THE MAYOR CENGİZ TO THE INVESTORS

Giving information also about the investment areas of the district to the visitors, Mayor Cengiz told “65 thermal villages with family cabins that we will construct this season will be a huge step that our district will take for the realization of the target of being the tourism centre. This project of ours will set an example for the investors. We create new investment areas for the investors and invite them to our district and we provide all kinds of possibility and ease. Each investment to be made on our district will create new employment areas and will add a momentum to the development thrust. For this reason, we give much importance to our endeavours and invite the entrepreneurs to our district for investment. Our endeavours for Aziziye to achieve the long-awaited district quality and consistence will continue without pausing and the district will be in its well-deserved position.” Mayor Cengiz emphasised the existence of Aziziye in the fair where numbered thermal tourism centres of Turkey took place.

MEANINGFUL SUPPORT FROM THE YOUNG TOURISM EMPLOYERS

In the Fair, Thermal Facilities Manager Fatih Alpşanlı was not forgotten by his friends from the field of tourism who graduated from Niğde University. Visiting Aziziye stand, the young tourism employers told that they closely follow the thermal tourism step taken in the district and stressed the importance of professional management understanding and institutionalisation in the success achieved.
