CENGİZ: WE ARE PROUD OF BEING GRADUATES OF ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL

Aziziye Mayor made a speech at the meeting and told that he was happy to be together with the principal and educators of his education years. Stating that being an Anatolian High School graduate is an important denominator, Mayor Cengiz told “We have been proud  in every stage our lives. We have seen its privileges in the works we have carried out, in the businesses we have made contact, in the place we have gotten to and we still feel this pride. Our Literature teacher Mr. Talat has contributed greatly for the organization of this night. I made him a get-well visit due to his illness and he told me ‘Anatolian High School Alumni Association is coming apart, please get together because there are some really big values among them’ and he contributed to the organization of this meeting. Today I felt the pride and happiness of being a graduate of the Anatolian High School once more.”

Expressing that he had learnt a lot from his teachers in his education years, Mayor Cengiz told “Our teachers always pioneered us. There are some graduates of Anatolian High School who are today in very important positions. Our teachers have big contribution and support in that. I thank them again and kiss their hands.

TURAN: LET’S MOVE THE HEAD OFFICE TO ERZURUM

Erzurum Anatolian High School Alumni Association Chairman Mustafa Gültekin Turan reminded that the Anatolian High School Alumni Association was founded in 2006 and told “Our intention to establish this association was formed in 1982-1983 when we graduated. But in 1996 we set out from the internet group that our graduate friends created and first founded the head office in Ankara and then opened a branch in Erzurum. As a chairman I need to say that there are around a thousand friends in Erzurum. As the potential here is better then let’s move the head office to Erzurum. It would operate more effectively and actively if it is here. Let’s call the general board to a meeting and the head office should be in Erzurum, that is what should be done in deed.” Turan then thanked the old educators of the school and Mayor Cengiz for their contribution to the organization of the meeting.

One of the old principals of the school, Mustafa Uyanık told that he graduated around 13 years ago and that he was happy to be participating in the meeting.

AKSAKALLI: BEING AN ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE IS BEING QUALIFIED

Mastermind of the meeting, retired Literature Teacher Talat Aksakallı told that the graduates of Anatolian High School are quite qualified and told that “I am the happiest man in the world because I was able to participate in this meeting though I am ill. When the Mayor visited me, I requested him to keep the Anatolian High School Alumni Association alive. I love you so much and I find you very qualified. It is us who know it best because we compare you quality and qualifications. Keep the Anatolian High School Alumni Association not only in Erzurum but also in Turkey. Because you are worth living and keeping it alive.”

After the participating members of the Anatolian High School Alumni Association stated their names and graduation years, Mayor Cengiz promoted the thermal facilities. Visiting the Thermal Facilities, the graduates of the Anatolian High School told “The existence of such a facility in Erzurum gives you pride” and thanked Mayor Cengiz for the quality he brought to the facilities.
